THE ENIGMA SERIES: PART FIVE

*I decided to put the Enigma Character Series together mostly for the same reason I’ve put the other ones together, to save time and space. I have these pieces posted individually in my Original Character Designs folder, but I will be scrapping them shortly.*
#1- More recently, Enigma has split her time between the X-Men and her mystic studies, including working with Doctor Strange again. I wanted something different for her to wear when not with the team, and this is what I came up with. I kinda like it, but I kinda have issues with it, too. I don’t like it near as much as the fishnet one. I really don’t have anything else to say about it, really.
#2- This would be Enigma’s most recent costume, which I intended to reflect that she has finally become a full-fledged sorceress, and is currently sort of torn between embracing that lifestyle or returning full time to the X-Men. I really liked this costume until I colored it, I couldn’t really find a color scheme that worked well, and then my scanner totally bled all the intensity out of the colors and I like it even less. I don’t know why it’s started making her purple hair look blue, it really pisses me off. This may just end up being a temporary costume or one used only occasionally, I’m not sure. I’m about two years behind in my reading, so I haven’t plotted her storylines out in detail just yet, either.
#3- Knowing what’s been going on with Archangel in the new X-Force series, it should be no surprise that Enigma’s spent some time with that team recently. Knowing that something is wrong with Warren immediately after he transforms back into Archangel, Mickey tracks him down to the Aerie and basically has to bully her way in, including a face-off against Cyclops, who is trying to keep X-Force a secret. He finally relents, and Enigma spends time on and off working with X-Force, mostly trying to help Warren control his Archangel transformations. I like her X-Force costume, which is nothing special, but still neat.
